Manchester is vibrant and artistic, which makes the city and greater surrounding region a fantastic area for aerial videography.
From Manchester’s rich industrial heritage dating back to the city’s days as a textile powerhouse in the 18th-century, to today’s inner city iconic locations including Manchester Arena, the largest indoor arena in Europe, and the Legoland Discovery Centre.
Manchester lends itself to a wide variety of locations perfect for GVs, commercials, documentaries, film and broadcast television and commercial site surveys.
In fact, we recently site surveyed the original 1938 Kellogg’s cereal plant which is still their largest to date.
Outside of the inner city, and its redeveloped areas once home to heavy industry, we find palces including The Castlefield Conservation Area, one of the largest conservation areas in Manchester, and The West Pennine Moors, which covers around 90 square miles of moorland and reservoirs in Lancashire and Greater Manchester. Here we’ve taken a vast amount of breath-taking aerial videography and photography.
A great number of films and television shows have been filmed in the city including (of course), Coronation Street, Looking for Eric, 24 Hour Party People, There’s Only One Jimmy Grimble, East is East, and Control.
